Location Covão do Milho

As part of the Forest Management Plan and as a measure to offset the expansion of mineral extraction, Telmo Duarte – The Natural Stone Company has proposed to the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF) the construction of a water supply point in the Serra de Aire, located in Covão do Milho.

In this way, we contribute to the preservation and conservation of the local flora and fauna, as the area is characterised by a scarcity of surface water (the creation of this water point has also provided support for fighting forest fires – thereby ensuring absolute respect for the natural environment and the landscape).
